I came to Kenya expecting an adventure, but I left with a completely new perspective. Working on mangrove restoration and spending time with the local community made the experience incredibly meaningful.
One day we were working on conservation projects, the next we were on safari in Tsavo watching elephants in the wild. It’s rare to find something this well balanced.
I felt like part of the community.
What stood out most was how welcomed we were. It didn’t feel like volunteering from the outside — it felt like being part of something real and meaningful.
